Marie McLaughlin is an associate attorney at Minces Rankin PLLC. Marie earned her law degree at the University of Houston Law Center after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas, where she majored in Government and minored in Business.

Marie worked at the Texas State Capitol for two years as a legislative aide for a representative and senator, providing her with insights into the intersection of law and policy. Marie was an active member of the University of Houston’s Women of Law and Disability Law Society while attending law school, where she championed learning, leadership, and diversity within the legal profession.

Prior to joining Minces Rankin, Marie gained valuable experience at several personal injury firms, where she focused on Multi-District Litigation involving mass torts and product liability. Since joining the firm, Marie has broadened her practice to include a wide range of complex civil litigation matters, including employment law disputes, commercial litigation, and defamation claims.

Marie is admitted to practice law in Texas (2024), including the United States District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas.
